A Purpose Filled Life

"The Beauty Of A Woman"

The beauty of a woman Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries, Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman Is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years only grows.

I. You Have  Purpose

From my writing on Hubpages
Why Aurora?
The name Aurora I have added to my name Dawn online ,as I wish never to use my full name online. Aurora also means Dawn, light bringer, illumination.
I have also found my purpose in my name. Which is about serving people, making their lives, and experience better. Means "dawn" in Latin. Aurora was the Roman goddess of the morning. It has occasionally been used as a given name since the Renaissance. Aurore is the French version. Aurora was the mythical Roman goddess of the dawn. This name became very popular after Charles Perrault wrote the fairy tale 'The Sleeping Beauty'.
Aurora- Breaking of Day, dawn of a new day, bringing hope. Today people need hope, for without hope people’s hearts fail, depression sets in, and illness comes in.
How do I serve people today? I do this through writing, developing support groups, developing informational, educational blogs. I also have developed a Admin team in a online community serving over 600 people.
I find others of like dreams, and encourage them. I have done nursing home visitations, served in food banks. I know I have learned much about myself, and others just by serving.
I love the song “Morning has broken” Each day is a new day to begin again, and serve.
Purpose ,we all have a purpose. In scriptures Cain asked God if he was his brother’s keeper. The answer is Yes, we are all our brothers, and sisters keeper.. There was a touching movie, it was called “My Sisters Keeper”. It was about another child who was born really to serve her sister in order to save her life. Serving is costly, and in essence it is giving of yourself. It is costly. It requires unselfishness. The problem today we live in a ME, Myself, and I world. I call this the unholy trinity. What is my purpose in life is a question asked by many people as they ponder the reasons for their existence. Life is the expression of the Reason for being. The Reason represents the intelligence that is within all things. For example, it is the power within a seed, when planted in the garden, grows step by step to the fulfilment of its reason for being. Everything has a purpose, a time and a season. Autumn is a wonderful example of the fulfilment of many plants as we enjoy the abundance of fruits and the real you is your inner purpose. When you took your first breath of life, you became a living vegetables that are harvested at this time in the cycles or seasons of life.
being. The time of birth determines the quality of the power within you and reveals your purpose in life.

How do you find your purpose?

It is a personal journey which each must walk. It is I believe a process of discovery, and of trial and error. It requires you to know yourself, skills, gifts, and passions. It takes time.
There may be the occasional person who knows their purpose from the time they were a child, sets out on the perfect course of study, and spends their whole life doing what they were meant to This is for the vast majority not the case at all.
Here are some tips.....
1. Journal-
Write your dreams, and passions down. What is it that excites you most and constantly fills your mind and heart?
2. Interview yourself.
Ask yourself questions.
  • What are your strengths, and weaknesses?
  • What do you like to talk most about and think on the most?
  • What do others seem to compliment you most on?
  • What is most exciting to you?
  • If you could do anything at all what would you do? Why?
  • If this was your last month to be on earth, how would you spend it?Think and ask yourself.
3. Pray
4. Step out of the boat- Take steps toward your purpose.

Self Esteem

Self Esteem- many people think and feel to low of themselves. The past abuse from family and others has taught them they are not worth much, Too often we look to others to feel good about our self, or we depend on our positions we hold. In Church I was taught about deny your self take up the cross. This is more about denying your ego, and self centerdness of living.without thinking about others.Self-esteem is your overall opinion of yourself — how you feel about your abilities a, strengths, weaknesses, and limitations. When your self-esteem, is healthy you feel good about yourself and see yourself as deserving of good things, good relationships, and respect from others.
What things can effect our Self Esteem?
  • Our own thinking, our thoughts and perceptions
  • How others treat us ( Rejections or love)
  • Life experiences- successes, or and failures
  • Illness, disability or injury
  • Our Culture,and Spirituality
  • Roles, and positions
  • Media - TV shows,Magazines etc
Your image of you is key in how others will see you. If you cannot see yourself as an achiever, than how can others? Self Esteem begins with knowing we are each sacred, we are each inherently valuable, unique, precious. It is time we build our own self up, instead of taring ourselves down .Sometimes we are our own worse enemy.

Affirmations are plain and simple- positive statements that describe a desired situation, which are often repeated, until they get impressed on the subconscious mind. They also manifest outwardly over time. Affirmations is a perfect way of you taking control of your own thought life. Instead of staying in the realm of stinking thinking, you can begin to to be more positive in your thought life, and thus be a more positive individual. Remember too there is the law of attraction.Did you know research has shown that we have between 45,000 and 51,000 thoughts a day. That’s about 150 to 300 thoughts a minute. Research has also shown that for most people 80% of those thoughts are negative
For Affirmations to be effective they must be used daily, and several times.
Here are a few I use-
I am love, I am loved, I love
I am beautiful within and without, I shine
I am a success
I am an over comer
I am a positive person who positively influences others
I am favored
I am patient
I am happy and full of joy
I am peace

Know Thyself

Know Thyself’ was written on the the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Ancient Philosophers were said to have gathered and inscribed it. Maybe it is something we need to take note of?
In relationships it is vital we know people. How many of us really know ourselves?
When asked by someone, tell me about yourself we tend to answer by our achievements rather than who we are. Mainly we do not know who we really are
Questions to ask yourself?
Who are you- (Your name)__________?
What is your strengths? Gifts?
What is your weaknesses?
What do you really love about you?
What do you wish you could change avout you?
What are you really interested in?
What do you believe and why?
What do you value and why?
When you look in a mirror at you, how do you feel? What do you think and why?
We are not always what we do.
We are more than Parents, teachers,Volunteers,
